# Update subscription products in bulk

> Filter, review, and update products across multiple subscriptions with Firmhouse batch operations.

Subscription product batch operations let you make the same change across products on multiple subscriptions. Each operation runs in the background and shows which products were updated and which could not be changed.

## Enable in New Features

1. In the Firmhouse Portal, open **New Features**.
2. Find **Subscription Product Batch Operations**.
3. Enable the feature for your project.

The **Subscription Products** page then appears under **Subscriptions** in the sidebar.

## Select the products to update

1. Open **Subscriptions** > **Subscription Products**.
2. Search or filter the list to find the subscription products you want to change. To use **Set custom price**, select exactly one **Country** filter first.
3. Select individual products, select the visible page, or select all products that match the current filters.
4. Choose a batch operation.
5. Review the number of selected products, the operation settings, and the irreversible-change notice.
6. Start the operation only when the review page shows the intended selection and change.

## What each action does

| Action | What Firmhouse changes |
| ---------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Replace products** | Replaces every selected subscription product with the product you choose. The quantity stays the same. Firmhouse sets the custom price to the replacement product's current price for that subscription. |
| **Remove products** | Removes every selected product from its subscription using the same checks as removing a product from a single subscription. |
| **Set custom price** | Requires exactly one **Country** filter. Sets the exact custom price you enter on every selected subscription product in that country. This overrides the normal product price for those subscription products. |
| **Lock current price** | Calculates each selected product's current price for its subscription and country, then stores that amount as its custom price. Later catalog price changes will not automatically change that stored custom price. Products that belong to a plan cannot use this action. |

## Changes cannot be automatically undone

Batch operations update products one by one. A completed change cannot be rolled back from the Portal.

If an operation only partly succeeds, the successful products stay changed while failed products are listed separately. Review the selection and operation settings carefully before you start.

## Follow the result

The result page shows the operation's progress and the number of completed and failed products. If a product fails, its error appears in the results. You can retry the failed products without running the operation again for products that already succeeded.

If the result is not what you expected, contact Firmhouse support from the Portal and include the batch operation number shown on the result page. This helps us investigate the exact operation and affected products.
