Oppy can help prepare operational work, but it does not run project-changing tasks by itself. When a task affects live business data, Oppy prepares the work for a person to review first.

Prepared batch operations

For operational tasks, Oppy may create a batch operation. For example, if a product is going out of stock, you can ask Oppy to help replace it with another product for affected subscriptions. In that workflow, Oppy prepares the batch operation and explains what it found. The batch operation is not executed by Oppy or through the Firmhouse MCP connection.

Review before running

After Oppy prepares a batch operation:
  1. Open the prepared batch operation in Firmhouse.
  2. Review the affected records and proposed changes.
  3. Check that the change matches what your team wants to do.
  4. Run the batch operation with the button when you are ready.
This keeps operational changes human-reviewed while still letting Oppy do the research and preparation work.
