Oppy is the AI assistant built into Firmhouse Portal. Use it to ask questions about your project, investigate operational work, and prepare changes with Firmhouse context. When Oppy is enabled for your user account, you can start and manage conversations from inside the Portal.

Open Oppy and start a conversation

  1. Open your Firmhouse project.
  2. Open Oppy from the Portal sidebar.
  3. Select New conversation.
  4. Ask your question or describe the work you want help with.
Oppy uses the current Firmhouse project as context. Start with a concrete question, such as: 
How many subscriptions will renew this week?
You can keep asking follow-up questions in the same conversation. Use a new conversation when you want to switch to a different topic or workflow.

Remove a conversation

Remove conversations you no longer need from your Oppy history.
  1. Open Oppy from the Portal sidebar.
  2. Find the conversation you want to remove.
  3. Open the conversation menu.
  4. Choose the remove or delete option.
  5. Confirm that you want to remove the conversation.
Removing a conversation only removes that conversation from the Oppy interface. It does not remove Firmhouse project data. Share a conversation when you want a teammate or Firmhouse support to see the same context.
  1. Open the conversation in Oppy.
  2. Open the share or link option.
  3. Copy the conversation link.
  4. Send the link to the person who should join or review the conversation.
People can only open a shared conversation when they have access to the same Firmhouse project and the required Oppy permissions.

Open a conversation full screen

Use full screen when you want more room for longer analysis, batch operation review, or a conversation with multiple people.
  1. Open Oppy from the Portal sidebar.
  2. Open the conversation you want to continue.
  3. Select the full screen or expand option.
  4. Continue the conversation in the full screen overlay.
You can return to the sidebar view when you want to keep Oppy available while working elsewhere in the Portal.
